The Episcopal Cathedral School History

The Episcopal Cathedral School, located on Ponce De Leon Avenue, Stop 20, in Santurce, has been a vital part in the academic development of a great number of students in our island. Founded in 1946, the school is well known for its academic excellence, advanced curriculum, all English instruction and its multi-cultural student body. The school’s mission is to promote the development of the whole child within a safe and pleasant environment, combining modern and innovative teaching methodology with traditional practices. The Episcopal Cathedral School has maintained a high-ranked position in the College Board testing results, surpassing the majority of the private and public schools in the island. Students from the Episcopal Cathedral School are consistently accepted to major universities in Puerto Rico, United States and around the world, such as University of Puerto Rico, Harvard University, Yale University and Universidad Complutense de Madrid, among others.  The school holds accreditations from the Middle States Association and CADIE. This year, the Episcopal Cathedral School will proudly celebrate 70 years of service to the Puerto Rican community.
